Flavored White Teas

White tea is the uncured, un-oxidized version of tea leaves and is a specialty of the Chinese province, Fujian. It consists of young buds and young leaves and is known to have extremely high levels of antioxidants, catechin (flavonoids) and very low levels of caffeine due to the lack of processing. White teas contain the highest levels of theanine (amino acid) compared to green, oolong and black teas. These amino acids have relaxing and mood enhancing properties. Additional health benefits include:
