Gaia's Essence is a wellness company that provides quality products for all natural and organic living. We specialize in unique selections of Loose Leaf Teas and Gourmet Salt Free Seasoning Blends created for their health benefits and spectacular flavors. Every new product is thoroughly reviewed by our research team before becoming part of our collection. Our goal is to provide affordable, nutritious options so everyone can enjoy a happy, healthy life. Every year we host a Women's Wellness Conference on Long Island NY. The vision of the conference is to empower, educate and inspire women to learn about being healthier. We provide simple and exciting ways so everyone can find their own path to wellness.

About the Founder
Farrah La Ronde-Hutchison was born and raised on the Nature Isle of the Caribbean, Dominica. Known for its biodiversity, culture and large centenarian population, Dominica instilled in Farrah a respect for nature, the environment and the power of natural, healthy living. In 2002, Farrah received the University of New Orleans Presidential Scholarship which allowed her to pursue a degree in Environmental Science. During her time with the university, Farrah was awarded a scholarship to study Environmental Planning and Management at Southern Cross University in Lismore, Australia. She returned to New Orleans in 2003 to continue with her degree and work with the Louisiana State Coastal Restoration Department.
After Hurricane Katrina, Farrah and her husband Eric relocated to Long Island, New York where she continued her education and graduated from Dowling College with a B. S. in Environmental Science.
Farrah found a growing need of wellness education and a lack of high quality and affordable loose teas comparable to the ones she enjoyed in her early childhood. This was her inspiration to create Gaia’s Essence in the spring of 2007. The company has since expanded to include a diverse selection of not only loose teas but also an entire line of salt free seasonings blends. She and her team of professionals have used their knowledge and expertise to create products which only promote and enhance overall wellbeing.
